Bankruptcy Trustee Meeting
341 Meeting, Creditor Meeting

The Bankruptcy Trustee Meeting, 341 Meeting, Creditor Meeting (these mean the same meeting just a different name for it) are sometimes the most feared part of this process. Promising people there is no reason the words in the world to calm the most fearfull person, but they still suffer anxiety for the idea. Knowing that fear is usually of the unknown, I am dedicating this page to fill bankruptcy filers with knowledge that will squash their fears!

Trustee Meeting Locations and Trustee's Address and Phone Number

First, be honest on your forms! I don't mean perfect, but don't hide a car. It is good in general to have an honesty policy, but a wise when you are working with our Federal Court Sytem. Most lies I hear DON'T MATTER ANYWAY!There is an entire site dedicated to bankruptcy fraud: CLICK HERE

Second, go visit to your local court and watch a few hearings. You can see many examples in just an half an hour of what is expected. I have witnessed many hearings and most took about 5-10 minutes.

Third Watch the video provided by the US Bankruptcy Court. Part Five goes over the creditor's meeting.

Trustee Meeting, 341 Meeting, Creditor Meeting Video

Bankruptcy filers are suffering from fear, so please ease their fear and enter your experience at the Bankruptcy Trustee Meeting, Creditor Meeting, and 341 Meeting. Please include how long the meeting was and how well the trustee treated you.

SPECIAL NOTE: If the trustee was annoyed with you, please list whether you neglected to turn your documents in 7 days in advance, forgot your identification or social security card, or if you were late! These are the ONLY accounts I have heard of any level of frustration from the trustees over 18 years. It adds a great amount of undue follow up on their part. Thanks! Rica

TIP: You know what would annoy the person trying to help this process along.. avoid it! Be on time, deliver your documents on time, AND remember your social security number and identification (proper)!
